3rd Symposium on
Advances in Approximate Bayesian Inference

Virtual Event, January-February, 2021

NOTE: You are viewing the 2021 year of the symposium. To view the most recent workshop, see here.

In recent years, there have been numerous advances in approximate inference methods, which have enabled Bayesian inference in increasingly challenging scenarios involving complex probabilistic models and large datasets. The 3rd Symposium on Advances in Approximate Bayesian Inference (AABI) will discuss this impact of Bayesian inference, connecting both variational and Monte Carlo methods with other fields. We encourage submissions that relate Bayesian inference to the fields of reinforcement learning, causal inference, decision processes, Bayesian compression, or differential privacy, among others. We also encourage submissions that contribute to connecting different approximate inference methods.

This symposium is a continuation of past years events:

Registration

This year AABI will be a virtual event consisting of six weekly online seminars held in January through February, 2021. Each seminar consists of both invited and contributed talks, will be broadcast via Zoom and in the meantime live-streamed on AABI Youtube channel. The Zoom registration is free but will be limited. Note that each seminar needs to be registered individually. See Schedule for registration links.
